Grand portrait peint à la main représentant Adolf Hitler, réalisé d'après le célèbre portrait officiel de Bruno Jacobs (1933).
L'œuvre est exécutée sur toile montée sur un panneau de fibres/carton compressé, avec des coups de pinceau clairement visibles sur l'ensemble de la surface. Les détails du visage, des cheveux et de l'uniforme démontrent qu'il s'agit d'une peinture réalisée à la main et non d'une simple reproduction imprimée.
Le panneau présente une patine ancienne, ainsi que quatre anciens trous de fixation aux coins avec une usure cohérente, indiquant que le portrait a été affiché durant une longue période, vraisemblablement directement fixé à un mur ou à un panneau. Le revers conserve également des traces d'anciennes étiquettes aujourd'hui disparues.
Cette pièce reprend fidèlement le portrait officiel de Bruno Jacobs tout en présentant plusieurs différences d'exécution, ce qui indique qu'il s'agit d'une copie peinte à la main et non d'une reproduction mécanique.
Selon l'ancien propriétaire, le tableau provient d'un lot acquis en 2009 dans un entrepôt de stockage contenant également une valise remplie de décorations allemandes de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Cette provenance est fournie à titre informatif uniquement et ne constitue pas une authentification.

The artwork is executed on canvas mounted to a fibreboard/compressed fibre panel, with clearly visible brushwork throughout the surface. Close examination of the hair, facial features and uniform confirms that this is a genuine hand-painted work rather than a printed reproduction.
The panel displays consistent age-related wear, including four old mounting holes in each corner, indicating that the portrait was displayed for an extended period, most likely mounted directly to a wall or display panel. The reverse also retains remnants of two removed labels.
The painting faithfully follows Bruno Jacobs' official composition while showing numerous hand-painted variations, confirming that it is an artist's painted copy rather than a mechanical reproduction.
According to the previous owner, the painting was acquired in 2009 from a storage unit that also contained a suitcase full of original German WWII medals. This information is provided solely as reported provenance and should not be considered authentication.
